Diamond Club, Football Stadium

Project Shots

Very diverse and contrasting lighting techniques were used in the Diamond Club to further differentiate and celebrate the varying qualities in each space. Overall, however, we explored techniques used in the 1920s to provide contemporary outcomes to ensure that the lighting emulated the club’s art deco design. In doing so, we worked with Tom Kirk to create a grand test tube chandelier in the reception area, showcasing the exclusivity and grandeur of the space. While the stadium window area required only subtle lighting, more prominent lighting is used extensively throughout the restaurant and bar to create points of hierarchy. This is done using a variety of glass pendants, wall lights, down lights and Robion fibre optics in various styles reflecting the intimacy of each space.
