Focusing on recyclability and community involvement, we worked with primary school children to turn disposable rubbish into a unique and precious installation. Each plastic bottle was placed into a carefully arranged position, expressing the movement and fluidity of how children typically find their destination. The plastic bottles were collected, painted and lit uniquely by the children and teachers, adding a sense of belonging and pride amongst the children, who each played a part in making the installation what it is.
