Tasked with lighting a floor to ceiling display of 3,384 whisky bottles, we wanted to preserve and celebrate the single malts and blends in the collection. We used frosted shelving containing dimmable UV lights to under light the bottles, revealing each bottle’s golden tone. The bottles were then front lit by warm LEDs, showcasing each label. This display is the feature of the bar space, which is lit to draw focus to the prominent wall graphics. Two large gold leaf feature lights were hung in conjunction with ceiling mounted diffuse spotlights and standing lamps, creating the desired general ambience within the space of warmth and comfort.
