Wahaca St Paul offers a large volume of space with a large reliance on artificial light due to an absence of natural light. In response to this challenge, we needed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere through alternate means. We made a number of interventions to create the desired environment, including a large back lit yellow wall and signage lighting that focuses on walls and artworks. We also accentuated the different levels using a chain wall with LEDs attached and integrated floor lighting into the seating area.
